July 4th . . .

Now that the holiday weekend has passed, I finally have some time to post some photos of our celebration!  After driving into Boston in the morning to visit the Queen Mary 2 at the Boston cruise terminal, we headed to the cottage for a day of swimming, kayaking and celebrating America's 234th birthday!

The boys did a little paddling . . .

Matthew practiced paddling from the shore so he could learn to take the kayak out alone!

Uncle Sam decorated the garden with his flag!

Mark enjoyed steamed clams and mussels on the deck!

Many of our neighbors enjoyed time on the pond!

The house was decorated to celebrate the 4th!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with some neighbors!

The boys celebrated with some sparklers on the patio!

We enjoyed a fireworks display put on by our neighbor!

To close out the evening, the boys spent the night in their new bunk beds!

A great 4th of July was had by all!
